CEO MESSAGE

With the support of all stakeholders, IME group was able to expand our business from a small corporation into a medium size corporation with business activities in Real-Estate Development, Construction & Engineering, Distribution, Retail, and Mineral Exploration & Mining. All your supports are truthfully appreciated from our hearts, and we are also working as hard as we can to achieve great results in all the businesses that we are in.

The overall bad economic climate combined with the rapidly changing business environment has challenged our group in many ways. This has made us realize that instead of trying to achieve short-term gain, we need to have a balance and need to focus on building the organization into a sustainable organization that can last for centuries. It is much more difficult to do than to say; nevertheless, we are going to devote all our resources to achieve the goal of creating sustainable value for all stakeholders.

Our strategies in the past has always been driving growth by expanding into new businesses mainly because we did not want to miss the opportunities in the Asia last emerging market. However, our strategy for coming years is to not expand, rather to focus on: system efficiency, internal controls, risk management, organizational development, and corporate social responsibility.
